about us

A warm, gracious and intimate evening awaits.

Come in. You'll quickly discover that our menu and our decor is both classic and contemporary in the most unexpected ways... and delightfully harmonizes from plate to palate!

Snuggle fireside, dine in our romantic stone-walled wine cellar or feast regally in our vaulted room.

Friendly waitstaff is at your service... we were put here to spoil you.

Delectable Maine lobster, hand-rolled pasta and succulent native pheasant are among the best dishes you've tasted.

But there's so much more to Hemingway's...

Yankee Magazine's Travel Guide to New England
This is far from your usual ski-town eatery: Hemingway's regularly rates as one of America's finest restaurants....{and} shows no signs of resting on its laurels. You don't expect one of America's finest restaurants to be located on an out-of-the-way highway in the Green Mountains, but the dining here is transcendent for its flavors, imagination and attention to detail. Praised by magazines from Food & Wine to Esquire, there is no finer spot for special occasions or simply a culinary experience that achieves perfection.

Vermont’s premier restaurant for gourmet and fine dining is located in Killington, the heart of Vermont country, within striking distance of Rutland, Woodstock and Ludlow. You won't be sorry if you visit just to celebrate the day!

"Hemingway's tries to recapture the art of dining — and succeeds. The focus is on the experience instead of on trends and design. Not unlike Vermont itself."
